Application Stage

  • Students apply through the online portal.

Selection Stage

  • Polytechnics contact shortlisted applicants for interviews.

Offer and Acceptance Stage

  • Applicants will receive notification of the release of the Poly EAE posting results via email and sms. Successful applicants are to confirm the acceptance of their offers through the online portal. A non-response will be deemed as a rejection of the offer.
  • Students who accept their offers during this stage are guaranteed a place in the polytechnic course, as long as they are able to meet the admissions criteria stated under Entry Requirements.

Withdrawal Stage

  • Should student wish to withdraw their acceptance, they must submit their withdrawal online via the Poly EAE portal. Students who have accepted a Poly EAE offer but do not withdraw by the deadline will not be able to switch courses within or across polytechnics once their offers are confirmed upon release of their final examinations results.

Note:

  • Students who have accepted the offer and met the admissions criteria for the Polytechnic course upon the release of the GCE O-Level Examination results (for 'O' level students), or final ITE GPA (for ITE students), will not be eligible to participate in the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE), Joint Polytechnic Admissions Exercise (JPAE) or other Polytechnic Admissions Exercises. These students will be informed of the enrolment procedures by the respective polytechnics of their offered course during the polytechnic enrolment period.
  • O-Level students who are interested in a JC pathway and wish to gain direct admission to a JC can participate in the DSA-JC Exercise, which is conducted at around the same period as the Poly EAE. However, each student is only allowed to accept one offer to a single JC or polytechnic course. If students are found to have accepted offers from both the Poly EAE and DSA-JC Exercise, they will be disqualified from both the Poly EAE and the DSA-JC Exercise unless they cancel either of their offers before the end of the Offer and Acceptance Stage.
